I love this little welder.
It is so small and lightweight, and I could easily sit it on top of my engine while I work on my car.
I have used it to weld a nut onto a broken bolt that was stuck inside my transmission. I have also used it to patch a hole in my air intake, and a hole in my exhaust pipe, and it works great!
If you work on cars, then you will definitely need this.

This dual voltage welder is definitely the "secret weapon" for my family's DIY projects! When I first got it, I was attracted by its large digital display. The operation is clear at a glance, and it is really suitable for people like me who are not very familiar with professional equipment. It supports flux-cored gasless welding, which is very suitable for home use. No additional gas bottles are required, which is convenient and saves trouble. I used it to repair the iron fence in the yard and made some small metal frames. The welds are even and firm, not at all like amateur level! The dual voltage function is very flexible. You can choose 110V or 220V according to actual needs. You can switch at any time at home and in the garage. It is really convenient. Moreover, the machine is not large in size and not heavy in weight. It is easy to move and saves a lot of trouble.

Years ago, I had wished to have a welder of my own. They were big, they were expensive. To me, they were unattainable. Not anymore.

This amazing piece of technological wizardry is neither of those things. It is small enough and light enough to carry in a backpack. With leads and power cable it doesn't take any more room than an xBox and a pair of controllers. And price? "Affordable" just doesn't not seem to do this product justice. A welder at this price point could not be any good, could it?

The answer is, emphatically, yes. Yes, this welder lays down some rod. There is 1 dial and an on/off switch. If you've a basic understanding of welding, you'll be able to sort the rest out with this tool. It is that simple to use.

To further reinforce this point, let me share a quick story. When playing with this welder the other day, my best friend's son showed up. He has never welded. He has never held any welding equipment. I showed him how it worked, showed him how to run an ugly bead (the only kind I know how to do), then handed it over. In less than 2 rods, he was also capable of laying an ugly weld. I say that somewhat in jest, but they were ugly. The point is that he was able to do it. The rest is practice. When I set up a couple new coupons for him, he was even able to intuitively know if the welder was too hot or too cold.

That is why this is an amazing machine! It is simple and effective. A total stranger to welding can pick this up and with just the minimal and marginally accurate advice, he can find himself welding steel together. That IS amazing. That is why I gave this tool 5 stars. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!!!

I got this welding machine for my husband who does quite a bit of welding around our homestead! This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. The instructions were clear and easy to read and very helpful for first time setup! He likes that it comes with the handle on top so he can easily maneuver it where it needs to be. This does have some weight to it but it's also lightweight enough you can bring it wherever you need it to be. All the controls are very well labeled and everything is easy to use and understand. The instructions are easy to read if you do have any questions. Definitely a very high quality product. Does not feel cheaper easily breakable whatsoever and I'm sure that this will last him for years to come! This has plenty of power and can get whatever job you need done! Solid 10 out of 10 and a great bang for your buck!

I have had it for a couple of hours and for the size and price it works well with the testing I have done (all stick welding). I will be using it on some small repair projects around my house and to start a few metal work projects. I will update my review once I have used it more.

I have been impressed with the welding capabilities of this welder considering the voltage. I do highly recommend using an isolated circuit with nothing else on it and having at least 20 amps available at any given time. For what it is and the price, it is a nice little welder for quick jobs. I am concerned with how long it will actually last, but so far so good.

I bought it for thin metal. Nope! This thing lays down a beautiful hot bead. Bought two. One for work and one for home.

Easy set up weld is nice for a Flux cored wire. The stick welding is a great option for some repairs.

Bought this on sale in hopes of learning to weld . Watch YouTube and practice with the welder. Far from being a good at welding but my brother is a good welder and said it was a very good welder. Will keep practicing with it and work on smaller projects.
